Symmetry

On Tuesday afternoons, our Year 4s have their outdoor education afternoon. This week they linked their learning to maths and explored symmetry. After hunting and foraging for leaves, sticks and what else they could find, they built patterns and discussed what they were doing using mathematical language, including if their pattern could be rotated, and if any of their shapes were translated.
